Updated by Isadora Venn. Links to Amazon earn us a commission (how that works).

As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Here is exactly what that means on this site.

How the money works

When you click a button that goes to Amazon and buy something within Amazon's window, Amazon pays this site a percentage. You pay the same price you would have paid anyway.

Every Amazon link on Brew Clock is a plain, direct link to amazon.com with a tracking tag at the end. There are no hidden redirects or link shorteners, and nothing loads in the background when you visit a page.

Buttons say what will happen: "See [model] on Amazon" opens that listing, and "Exact-model search on Amazon" opens a search for a precise model number when no single listing could be confirmed.

Does it affect the rankings?

The commission rate doesn't change by brand in a way that would reward one coffee maker over another, and the rankings are built from outside evidence and listing details, weighed against buyer worries, before any link is added.

The clearest proof is the advice itself. Several pages tell you to buy the cheaper machine, to skip the grind-and-brew category if you already own a grinder, or to drop pods to save hundreds of dollars a year. Those recommendations earn less, and they stay.

What isn't for sale

Placements and rankings. Reviews too. Brands don't pay to appear and don't see pages before they go live. No free products are accepted.

Links that don't earn

Links to YouTube for the video section earn nothing. Sources such as America's Test Kitchen and the SCA are credited by name and aren't links.
